Bandhan, a non-government, non-political and non-profit making development organization, has been working since 1982 in the field of Health & Family Planning, WatSan, and right.
Aims and Objectives
* To raise awareness on socio-economic and environment issues
* To make communication with target people through IPC, campaign, popular/street theatre, mobile documentary/film show, rally, publication, etc.
* To increase people's and community participation in their own decision making and development process
* To involve most vulnerable group, such as, women and children in development process through campaign, courtyard meeting, training, school session, etc.
* To eradicate poverty through improvement of education, skill, health, family, water, sanitation, solid waste management, slum improvement, etc.
* To work with local government and community organization for strengthen and capacity building of local institution
* To work to formulate and reform policies and laws through seminar, advocacy and lobbying
